Trend: Knitwear

Jumper from River Island

The new trend of this fall/winter season is Knitwear! This material is perfectly for keeping everything warm even though the material is sometimes loose-knit. Because of the fact that the material is very soft in the same time, it'd like to wear this material in a lot of different ways.

classic style from Mango                                                                      Sweater with pattern from Zara

my fav piece - the navy cardigan from Vero Moda                 super cozy long cardigan from H&M

beautiful knitdress from asos

I can just recommend this material, because it's super warm and looks really stylish. Also, the menswear is amazing too! I think men with a nice knit sweater look so stunning! Asos has a beautiful selection!!

My Autumn Look - MAC Products

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share with you my actual autumn look which I'm wearing quite often:

Guide:
-> I applied my Artdeco Eyeshadow Base (this Base is absolutely amazing!!!)
1. Applied the white colour of the Helena Rubenstein 07 Lucky Gold Palette (http://www.perfumezilla.com/helena-rubinstein/helena-rubinstein-wanted-eyes-lucky-gold6219.php)
2. MAC's Woodwinked all over the lid
3. MAC's Satin Taupe in the crease and down the lid in the typical V-shape
4. MAC's Smut in the very outer part of your eye, really close to the lash line
-> and blend everything really well!
-> apply a brown eyeliner really close to the upper lashline
-> curl your lashes and apply lots of mascara

For the lips I used a sheer raspberry lipgloss like the Lancôme Color Fever Gloss No. 321 Dangerously Pink.(http://www.lancome.de/_de/_de/make-up/lippen-make-up/gloss/color-fever-gloss-206012.aspx)

I hope this was an inspiration for you! Have a wonderful day!

5 Ways To Get In Autumn/Fall Mood

Autumn is my absolute favourite season.

Some people say that this season has something nostalgia, but I just love the mixture of the weather between cold and still warm, I love the beautiful orange, red and yellow colour all around, in fact, I love everything in the autumn.
But how to get in autumn mood when we have a really tough time full of stress or studying or we have to stay at home? These 5 really easy and cheap methods should bring the autumn feeling to you:
1. Light a spicy scented candle
Light an aromatic candle with an scent which reminds you of autumn like pumpkin, fir, cinnamon, baked apple, etc.. I love to light an baked apple candle and read a book and then my world is perfect :)
You can buy some expensive one here or here and my absolute favourite and very cheap one are from IKEA! Just click here!

2. Drink a spicy drink (tea)
I love to drink tea when it's getting colder outside, especially a Chia Tea suits perfectly in this season.
If you don't like Chia Tea than I can recommend a tea with typical christmas spices. If you don't like to drink tea, then what about a Chai Tea Latte? ;)

3. Use red, berry and brown lipsticks and eyeshadows
Why shouldn't we transform our appearance in a more autumn look? I think when it's getting colder outside then a darker eye makeup looks so much better than in the summer. Hence, I use my brown, slightly reddish eyeshadows and my red and berry lipsticks (they don't have to be intense) and they transform your appearance in a autumn look!

4. Wear your favourite boots and skirt&dresses with tights
No, I don't mean this huge winter boots, I rather think about thin leather riding boots you suit perfectly to every single outfit! Additionally, the boots keep your feet warm in this slightly cold weather! Also, there is no better way than to combine summer with winter by wearing your favourite skirts and dresses with tights. So, you don't have to miss your summer dresses, but it is still warm :)

5. Decorate your room!
The last but very important thing is to decorate your room in an autumn way. Just pick a few red, orange and yellow leaves from your latest walk. Collect a few chestnuts and decorate everything in your room. Also, there are sometimes some really nice decoration ideas in some stores. I have a fake bouquet of flowers with an fake flowerpot. Combined with the candles, you're room will be an "autumn land".

I hope these tips were useful & leave me a comment!!

Maybelline Dream Touch Blush - Review + Pictures

Hey Beauties!

This is a review of the Maybelline Dream Touch Blush in no. 07 Plum.

Cream Blusher in general:
Before I am going to talk about the product, I want to explain a bit about a cream blush in general. Well, a normal blush is like a normal eyeshadow, where the pigments are pressed in a pot. A cream blush is nearly the seem like a cream eyeshadow. Mixed with water, some thickeners and other additives, this products has a creamy texture. The good thing about this is that you can blend it much easier into your skin and that makes your whole appearance more natural. Of course there are also some disadvantages. Some cream blusher will be kind of absorbed by the skin. The only solution for that is to top the blusher with a translucent powder.

Maybelline Dream Touch Blush - General information
The product costs 6,45€. Maybelline promises:
"Cream blush feels satin-soft on skin, glides on smoothly, and blends easily for seamless color and a natural finish. Long-wearing formula provides luminous, long-lasting color on cheeks without clogging pores"
And here the guide how to apply it:
"With your fingertips, pat a small amount of blush onto the apples of your cheeks. Use feathery strokes to blend gently from your cheekbones to your temples. To build color intensity, apply more blush."
Maybelline Dream Touch Blush - The consistency:
Although it is a cream blusher, the product in the pot is not extremely creamy, which I really like. Therefore, you are forced to put your finger just over the surface of the product and not to stick it into the whole pot. The consistency on the fingers resp. on the cheeks is also a mixture of creamy and solid.

blended

Maybelline Dream Touch Blush - The colour
Before blending the product the colour looks really intense and more like a strong pink. However, after blending the products, the colour turns out to be a really nice softly pink colour. In total, it looks like a softly, natural healthy touch! Hence, it is really hard to over blush!

Maybelline Dream Touch Blush - Long-lasting?
Yes, it is! I think, it wouldn't survive a really hard workout or a long walk through the rain :D, but when I apply it in the morning, I can still see it slightly in the evening!

Maybelline Dream Touch Blush - Recommendation?
Definitely! Since I purchased this product, I never want to come back to "normal blushes". Before I have used this product, I didn't really like blushes, because I've always thought it looks over blushed, even the tiniest amount. Now, I really like to wear blush, because it just makes me look healthy! So, I can absolutely recommend this product!!!

I hope you enjoyed reading! Tell me what you think about cream blushes??

Concealer On A Budget: L'oréal vs Maybelline

Hey Beauties!

My question is: Which concealer is budget and works really good? So, I have here two good concealer which I have re-purchased quiet a few times from now. I think showing you a concealer from whom I'm not convinced of, is not considerable and it doesn't even make a sense.
So, we have here Maybelline Ever Fresh Concealer, which is similar to the Fit Me Concealer or their Mineral one, and the L'oréal Touch Magique.

Here's how my eyes look like without any concealer:

Maybelline Ever Fresh Concealer:
The Maybelline Ever Fresh Concealer costs 4-6€/7,5 ml (it depends on your market). It has this applicator, whereby you can apply the concealer directly onto your under eye circles. However, you have to blend the concealer with a brush or with your fingers.
This is how the applicator looks like:

The concealer has definitely no smell, the opacity is really good, so you just have to use one layer of it.
Here's the result:

L'oréal Touche Magique:
The L'oréal Touche Magique costs 8,96€/5 ml. Its applicator is a brush and you have to twist the bottom part of the packaging in order to get your product. Then the product comes out of the brush, like you can see here:

Now, we can argue, if this is the most hygienic method, but we leave that out. I would definitely say that this simplifies the nice blending and appliance around your eye. The opacity is also extremely good and it has no smell. However, you can't use the brush to blend the concealer into your skin, so you have to use your fingers or a brush again.
Additionally, the brush is really thick and the cap is too small, so you catch these hair of the brush really easily and then it looks like that :)

And here's my result:

Result:
Unfortunately, I have to say that the L'oréal Touche Magique works a little bit better. Sometimes, when I have kind of a bad day, the Maybelline Concealer dries my eye area really out and then it looks just disgusting. The L'oréal Touche Magique covers everything up even when I have my terrifying days :) I have got the problem that a lot of concealer make my under eye circles look blue and that's what he doesn't do.
I got my last Maybelline Concealer on sale for 3,5€, but if I had to pay 6, I would invest 3€ more to get the L'oréal one. I think, it's worth it!!! I can definitely recommend this concealer! However, when you're looking for a cheaper one that I would purchase the Maybelline one. You can also make sure that you don't get any pimples because of these!

What ist your favourite concealer or did you try one of these??

Dress For Less: H&M Dress - Birthday Outfit!

Hey Beauties!

There a few occasions in the year when you want to look amazing and one of them is definitely your BIRTHDAY! Mine is on the 7th September and this my Outfit, Make-up & Hairstyle for the party on the Saturday after my birthday.

Clothes:

When I saw the recent photos of Emma Watson in her dress in lace, I definitely wanted to wear one off them for my Birthday party!

My aim is to wear a dress that no one else is going to wear, when I'm going to celebrate my birthday! And i found this dress in the H&M Online Shop:

I love this dress! My skin is nearly the same colour like the material underneath the dress, so you can't see a difference between the "body part" and the "arm part".

I'm going to combine it with this clutch and these lovely shoes!
They look quiet blue on the picture, but if you wear them on the feet, they are dark blue, nearly black.

If it's cold or rainy, I'm going to add my black blazer from Esprit.

Make-up:
I did a tutorial on this, please click here

Hairstyle:

I'm going to wear my hair open and naturally waved. I think I'll define my waves a bit with some rollers. I hope that it'll look like that :)

Let me know, what you have worn on your last birthday!!
I wish you a wonderful day!!! xx

Neutral, Party Make-up Tutorial!

Hey beauties!

Today I want to share with you my make-up which I am going to wear on my birthday in 2 weeks. Yes, I am one of such girls who is sooo excited about its birthday, so I even knowing now what I will wear.
Additionally, I will upload my Birthday Party Make-up, also my Outifts for both of these days!
This make-up is not really typical for me, because normally I go kind of dramatic for my birthday, but this year I decided for a really nice shimmery, natural, soft pink, brown look, which also works really well for a night out!
So let's get started!!

Products I used:
# Maybelline Eyestudio Duo 62 Mocha Mirage
# 88 Neutral Colour Eyeshadow Palette (please look at the picture for the exact colour)
# Alverde Eyebrow Pencil 01 Blond
# Essence Gel Eyeliner 02 London Baby
# Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick 14o Intense Pink
# Lancôme Color Fever Gloss 321 Dangerously Pink
# Maybelline Dream Touch Blush o7 Plum
# Covergirl lashblastvolume mascara

Step 0: Before I started with my eye make-up, I concealed my eyes and blemishes and powered my face.

Step 1: Firstly I used the pinky colour of the Maybelline Eyestudio Duo and dapped it slightly over the whole lid with a normal eyeshadow brush

Step 2: Apply e/s no. 1 all over the lid (please look at the picture of the 88 neutral color eyeshadow palette)

Step 3: Apply e/s no. 2 just in the outer corner of your eye. Then start blending the eyeshadow, but try to stay with the colour just in the outer corner. Don't out it into your crease or up to your eyebrows! We want to keep it really natural.

Also, I applied a little bit of this colour under my eye.

Step 4: Define your eyebrows really softly! I just defined the edges.

Step 5: Highlight your inner eye and the area under your eyebrow with e/s no. 3

Step 6: Use a brown gel eyeliner to apply a really thin line as close to your lash line as possible. Just that your lashes look a little bit thicker.

Step 7: Use an eyelash curler and use your mascara.

Step 8: Now, we go to the lips. Use a soft pink lipstick and finish with a pink lipgloss with sparkles. Make sure that you just tap it softly onto your lips.

Step 9: Apply a pink cream blush on the apples of your cheeks. Firstly, apply a little dot and then blend it into your skin.

So that's it! Here a few pictures:

As I said, it's really natural, but I think it's really, really pretty, especially when you go out in the daylight, the eye is good a really nice shimmer, but not that you look like a disco ball :D
So, I hope you like it.

Please leave me a comment, if you love this look as much as I do or if you have changed anything!!
All the best!!! xx
